Dacura Privacy Policy
How the current Dacura Windows all-in-one client processes recovery, repair and cleanup data locally, and what information its account, entitlement, payment and feedback services process.1. Controller and scope
The controller is Shenzhen Itemir Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市艾特米科技有限公司), reachable at itemir@itemir.com. This policy covers the Dacura all-in-one client and related services; separate products have their own notices. The Itemir general privacy policy also applies to shared accounts, websites and checkout. This policy explains Dacura-specific processing.
The current client does not provide AI tools, cloud storage, OCR, translation, summaries, professional document templates or image enhancement. Local recovery, repair and cleanup do not require uploading your files to us or using them for model training.
2. Local recovery scanning and previews
When you select a disk, partition or image and start scanning, the client locally reads disk structures, file contents and metadata such as names, paths, sizes, types and positions to find, categorize, thumbnail, preview and recover files. The source is accessed read-only; saving writes to your chosen destination. Basic features work without signing in. Non-Pro preview overlays are displayed locally; purchasing access does not require uploading scanned files.
Previews may use memory and local temporary caches; they are not guaranteed to remain solely in memory. Scan states you choose to save contain source identifiers, file lists, positions and progress, not a complete disk image. Protect caches, scan states and exported files, which may contain personal information.
3. Local repair and protected caches
Selected damaged files, reference samples, diagnostics and repair results are processed locally. The app generates results in local working directories and stores repair artifacts in a protected encrypted cache. Playback and previews can create temporary decrypted copies; export decrypts to the location you choose. We do not automatically upload these files to a server.
When previews end or tasks are released normally, the app attempts to clean up related temporary materials. Open file handles, crashes or unexpected shutdowns can leave residual caches. This is not permanent backup and does not guarantee the absence of plaintext temporary copies. Export results you need, and end tasks and confirm results are saved before clearing caches.
4. Cleanup and device status
To list cleanup candidates, analyze storage or find duplicates, the client reads local directories and file attributes according to your selected rules, compares contents or hashes where needed, and examines browser caches, history traces, installed-software information and relevant system settings. The home page also reads local disk capacity, CPU, memory and network-rate information. These scan contents and detailed results are not automatically attached to authentication or entitlement requests.
Executing cleanup, uninstallation, migration or system slimming may change or delete selected data and system settings. Privacy-trace cleanup does not delete data already held by websites, browser-sync services or other third parties. Enabling startup or context menus changes the current user's system-integration settings. Tasks may continue processing local data while the app runs in the tray.
5. Accounts, codes and third-party sign-in
Registration, sign-in and account management process the email or phone number, display name, password-verification information, code-verification results and session information you provide. Passwords are submitted over HTTPS for server verification and are not saved in client settings; the server stores account passwords as hashes, not plaintext. Code delivery provides the necessary address or phone number to email or SMS providers.
Choosing WeChat or Google sign-in accesses the provider and processes authorized identity identifiers, necessary basic profile data, authorization state and sign-in results. Google uses the openid, email and profile scopes. Confirming a WeChat QR sign-in does not authorize us to read chats or contacts. The provider's authorization screen describes the request. You may choose another available sign-in method; revoking third-party access does not delete your shared account.
After sign-in, the client stores account identifiers and session tokens in the current operating-system user's application settings to maintain the session. Protect your Windows user account and do not share configuration files. Signing out clears the client's saved login tokens.
6. Devices, network requests and feature events
Account and entitlement services may receive a hashed device identifier, device name, operating system, app version, account and session identifiers to recognize devices, administer license scope and prevent abuse. A hashed device identifier can still link the same device and is not equivalent to anonymous data. Network services also process IP addresses, request times and security records.
The client may retrieve the plan catalog at startup and refresh sessions or entitlements when signed in. Some entitlement prompts and OAuth flows send event names and properties such as entry point, feature identifier, current plan or sign-in provider when authenticated, to record account and entitlement flows. These events do not include scanned file contents or a full disk inventory. This policy does not describe the client as entirely offline or free of network events.
7. Purchases, payments and feedback
Purchase entry points open a website. Account and payment services process order numbers, products, plans, terms, amounts, currency, status and provider transaction or subscription identifiers. Your selected payment provider handles payment passwords and full card credentials; the Dacura client does not collect them directly. Providers process necessary information under their own notices.
Opening feedback requests a security code. Submission sends your contact email, category and message, plus product and request identifiers, the code and associated language fields. If you choose to include diagnostics, it also sends the Dacura and Qt versions, operating-system type/version and processor architecture. Feedback does not automatically attach files, complete logs or scan results. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in your message. Attachments you separately choose to send to support are also used to handle that request.
8. Local records, retention and safeguards
Language, theme, startup and cleanup preferences, session state and other settings reside in the current system user's settings; preview and repair materials reside in local cache or temporary directories. The client also creates local runtime logs that may contain errors, component messages and related paths or task information. They are not automatically uploaded with feedback. You can inspect them through the log-directory entry in About and manage unneeded records after closing the program.
Exported files and saved scan states remain until you delete them. Temporary materials are cleaned up on a task-lifecycle basis where possible; you manage abnormal leftovers. Server information is retained only as necessary for accounts, entitlements, transactions, security and support. Account deletion involves identity verification, legal retention obligations and dispute needs; legally required transaction or audit records may remain with restricted use. There is no single deletion date for every data category. Ask us about the basis and arrangements for a particular record.
Network interfaces use HTTPS, with access controls and other safeguards. Repair-cache encryption does not mean that account settings, all logs or every temporary file are encrypted. No measure guarantees absolute security; protect your device, backups and exported data.
9. Purposes, sharing and international processing
We process necessary information to provide requested features, perform contracts, secure accounts and transactions, support users and comply with law. Where consent is the required basis, we seek it as required. Where applicable, security and service maintenance may also rely on legitimate interests. We do not sell personal information or send scanned, repaired or cleanup files to advertisers merely because you use local features.
Hosting, email, SMS and support providers process data as needed; identity and payment providers you select process authorization or transaction information according to their roles. Products under the same operator use necessary information for shared accounts, orders and entitlements. Legally required disclosures and business transfers remain subject to applicable notice and safeguards.
Services such as Google may process information outside your region; review the provider's privacy notice before use. Where cross-border transfers require notice, separate consent or other measures, we will meet applicable requirements and apply safeguards. Using local features alone does not send your local files abroad.
10. Choices and rights
You may use Free local features without signing in, choose whether to submit feedback and diagnostics, sign out, and manage available startup, tray and context-menu options. Websites may use cookies necessary for authentication, security and language preferences. Browser controls let you manage cookies; removing them may require signing in again.
Use available account-center functions or itemir@itemir.com to request access, copies, correction or deletion, withdraw consent, close your account, or exercise applicable restriction, objection and portability rights. We will verify necessary identity, respond within legal deadlines and explain lawful reasons for any delay or refusal. We do not require unrelated file contents. Closing a shared account may affect other products; separately check that payment-channel renewal is cancelled. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the relevant authority.
11. Minors, updates and contact
This product is not specifically directed to children under 14. Where children's personal information is involved, we seek guardian consent and apply protections required by law. Guardians may contact us about information received in error. Other minors should use the product with guardian guidance.
Material processing changes will be appropriately notified and new consent requested when required, rather than treating continued use as a substitute for legally required valid consent. Both language versions were updated on 2026-10-01. Privacy contact: itemir@itemir.com. Controller: Shenzhen Itemir Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市艾特米科技有限公司).
