Itemir Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and scope

Shenzhen Itemir Technology Co., Ltd. ("Itemir", "we", "us" or "our") is the operator and personal information controller for the Itemir product ecosystem. This policy applies to itemir.com and its subdomains, Itemir account and shop services, and Itemir-branded desktop or web products that link to this policy.

A product may provide an additional privacy notice when it processes information in a way not covered here. That product-specific notice supplements this policy.

2. Information we collect

• Account information you provide, such as email address or mobile number, display name, password hash and account preferences. We do not store your plaintext password.
• Third-party sign-in information. If you choose Google, PayPal or another supported provider, we receive the provider account identifier and the profile information you authorize, such as name and email address. For Log in with PayPal, the requested scopes are openid, profile and email.
• Order and payment records, including order number, product and plan, billing cycle, currency, amount, payment status, and provider transaction or subscription identifiers. PayPal and other payment providers process your payment credentials; Itemir does not receive your PayPal password or complete card or bank-account credentials.
• Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, app version, device identifier or fingerprint, timestamps, diagnostics, security events and feature usage.
• Support and communications information, including messages, attachments and information you send when requesting help, a refund or another account service.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to sign you in, maintain sessions, prevent cross-site request forgery, protect transactions, remember language preferences and keep the service reliable. Authentication and security cookies are required for signed-in features. We will request consent before using non-essential advertising or analytics cookies where applicable law requires it.

4. How and why we use information

Depending on your location, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service.

• Create and secure your account, authenticate you and synchronize identity across Itemir product sites.
• Provide products, process orders and payments, activate entitlements, manage subscriptions and handle cancellation or refund requests.
• Operate, diagnose and improve service reliability, compatibility, security and customer support.
• Send transactional notices about verification, orders, subscriptions, security or material service changes. Marketing messages are sent only when permitted, and you may opt out.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access, enforce our agreements, comply with law and establish or defend legal claims.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to the following recipients:

• Payment and identity providers, including PayPal, Google, WeChat Pay and Alipay, when you choose the relevant service.
• Hosting, database, security, communications and customer-support providers acting for us under contractual safeguards.
• Other Itemir product sites operated by the same company, solely to provide one account, checkout and entitlement system.
• Authorities, courts or professional advisers where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Itemir or the public.
• A successor in a merger, financing, reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

6. International processing

Itemir and providers such as PayPal or Google may process information in countries or regions other than your own. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual, technical and organizational safeguards. The independent privacy practices of a payment or identity provider are governed by that provider's own privacy notice.

7. Retention

We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support reactivation, security and dispute handling. Order, payment and tax records are kept for the period required by applicable accounting, tax and anti-fraud laws. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for protection and diagnosis. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless law requires longer retention.

8. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, credential hashing, audit records and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system is completely secure, so please use a unique password, protect your devices and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or a copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, unlink a third-party identity, or close your account. You may also cancel a subscription from the account center or the payment provider where supported. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed.

Send a request to itemir@itemir.com from the email associated with your account. We may verify your identity before completing the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful exception.

10. Children

Itemir services are not directed to children under 13, and users who cannot independently enter a binding contract must use the service only with a parent or legal guardian's consent. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when required.
